Meet the TPF Pigs
Pickles came to us in 2022 at just 6 months old from a rural shelter where he was a stray. He was already castrated and had some health issues at first. We got that all fixed up and now he is HUGE!!!!! He is not a pot belly pig but what some refer to as a "farm hog". Pickles is the farm clown. He can often be seen tossing wheelbarrows, slinging water hoses, dumping piggie pools OR just laying with his bestie Frank the pig. Pickles will always live here where he is safe from the dinner plate. PIckles is like a GIANT dog and is just a joy!
Frank came to us in 2023 from a shelter in VA. He is a big hog too but not as big as Pickles. Definitely not a pot belly either. We are unsure of his age but he was full grown when he came. Frank and Pickles are best friends and often seen laying together or running through the pasture. Both boys will remain here for the remainder of their lives. Frank is very sweet and likes belly rubs. Frank passed the summer of 2025. LIke many "farm hogs" he grew way too fast for his structure causing immense pain and arthritis. When the pain meds could not longer help, we humanely euthanized him while being told what a great boy he is.
Meet the 4 brothers! Enis came with his brothers Luke, Cletus, and Bo. These boys were part of a rescue turned hoarding case where there were 80+ pigs in need. These boys have been with us almost 2 years and still don't quite trust humans much. They do love snacks and will come running for treats. We would love for these boys to be adopted in pairs or all 4 as loved companions. Enis now lives at the Lupine school in Carrboro.

Coco came to us when his loving home could no longer keep her. Coco is VERY loved by her previous family and everyone that comes on the farm. Coco will live here for the remainder of her life. As the sole gal amongst all the boy pigs, she clearly runs this place.
Willie came to us in Feb 2026. He was a stray that ended up in Lincoln county animal shelter. He is brand new to the farm and will be castrated soon. Until then, he gets an entire part of the barn to himself.
Our big boy Pickles.
