Who we are
We are a recognized 501c3 all species animal rescue and sanctuary,
offering sanctuary and potential adoption to species ranging from
cats and chickens, to donkeys and cows.
Turtle Pants Farm works to provide a safe space for animals in need, because we believe that all animals deserve a chance to survive and thrive.
Our goal is to provide sanctuary for all species that need a safe home, and to provide a temporary foster home for adoptable animals while they are in transition to their forever home.
Our long term goal is to educate the public on proper care, feeding, and vetting of all species animals.
What we do
Turtle Pants Farm is a small family farm and non profit in rural Chatham County, North Carolina. The farm operates as an all species rescue and sanctuary taking in, vetting, rehabilitating, and re-homing animals of various species and backgrounds. Our belief is that all animals deserve a caring, loving forever home.

We’ve been working with TPF for more than 13 years. In that time, Jeremi has shown her dedication and commitment to helping animals in need — from becoming a licensed veterinary technician, to acquiring her official non-profit status — her love for animals of all shapes and sizes simply shines through her work.

When I think of Turtle Pants Farm, the first word that comes to mind is haven – rolling hills, green farmland, grazing creatures, and in the midst of all this is nestled a barn full of loved animals. When you pull up, a happy but motley crew greets you – turkeys, goats, geese, roosters, cows…all pastured together, wanting for nothing, and happy to see you! The network of people that Jeremi has created is outstanding. She has found homes for domestic pets and livestock, she is a master of building bridges and is easy to work with – exemplifying what rescue should be about. I’ve enjoyed volunteering for TPF, and cannot say enough kind things about it.
